Burgers and meat for tartare (raw consumption) are sensitive products. At Elivia, we were the first to produce fresh burgers, with release for marketing dependent on systematic analyses. This method therefore requires more attention and testing to guarantee their health quality.


E. coli risk management
Following the contamination of burgers with E. coli 0157: H7 - particularly toxic for children and the elderly -, Elivia took maximum steps to ensure safety at every stage of the line from slaughter to the consumer’s plate. Systematic tests are carried out on every batch of burgers.
