"We are a bit like the wine waiters of meat! The group "skewer" companies all have a very distinct identity, working in a distribution area of around 200 km². This is a sine qua non condition to guarantee maximum proximity to our customers. Indeed, our trade is to meet specific needs in beef, veal, pork and lamb. We pretty well work on a unit basis. Every artisan butcher or manager of a traditional supermarket butchery section has his specific and dedicated clientele for top choice meats, in terms of breed and regions. He needs a specialist partner who manages the whole chain, from selecting the live animal to delivery to the cold chamber, who knows the farms, is involved in how the animals are fed… This is where we come in – and being a cooperative, directly linked to farmers, puts us in the ideal place."
