Our mission: ‘committed by nature’

“To recommend and facilitate a pact between agriculture and society by promoting eco-responsible livestock farming on the upstream side of the supply chain (organic, La Nouvelle Agriculture, local supply chains, etc.) and by promoting the development of high-quality meats that combine eating pleasure with nutrition and health on the downstream side.”

Our values

Earning trust in our products: throughout our history, we have provided assured food safety and product traceability through practical initiatives, such as conducting pre-release tests on fresh minced meat to be eaten raw. Our CSR policy commits us to a more natural production process, from animal husbandry through to every product processing phase by limiting their environmental impact and removing additives. Our efforts are focused on facilitating healthy, balanced diets consistent with the French National Health & Nutrition Plan.

Certifications

Each ELIVIA production site has its own health and safety certificate. Issued by central government, these certificates provide us with authorisation to market our products. This legal requirement is supplemented by voluntary certification processes to which ELIVIA has been committed since 2005.

This standardised evaluation system sets out the measures applicable to operators manufacturing retailer own-brand food products. IFS Food is internationally recognised as a stringent food safety, product quality and customer requirements compliance standard. All ELIVIA sites manufacturing retailer own-brand products are certified compliant with the highest level of this standard.

This international food safety management system certification scheme is recognised worldwide. ELIVIA has set itself the goal of securing certification for all its locations by the end of 2025. Its Cholet and Mirecourt facilities were the first to put in place the necessary measures and received certification in 2017.

Standard guaranteeing recognition of the quality management system customer satisfaction.
